Portraits
People are the lifeblood of photography. What most portraits fail in, is the essence of the subject. A portrait is, at the end of a day, just a photo. What I aim to capture in my shots is the personality of the subject. The more “unique” the subject the better. These are not beauty shots, rather great images of real people, recorded for posterity.
Landscapes
As I love to tour on a motorcycle in the UK, this leads to visiting some of the most exceptional landscapes you will ever find. I rarely goes anywhere without a camera and love to shoot these locations to share my love of the UK landscape. These are not the standard tourist locations, rather scenes that are just so lovely i have to try can capture how they make me feel.
Observational
A photograph is nothing unless it is seen. I like to capture the world around me how I see it. Not always the beauty, and more often the mundane elements of the world we have created. My street photography and documentary series are simply how I see the world. This is not to everyone’s taste but does give a real taste of the world we currently live.
